May Portfolio Round-Up
May was an exciting month for us! We had a broad scope of projects to work on, touching on all the variety of services we can offer our clients; and we also got to meet and start working with many more local businesses in this mountain town we love. One of the great honors of working with local brands has been getting a call from someone new, and they mentioned, “We love the work you’re doing for so-and-so, and we want to work with you too.”
When we added this blog to our website, we wanted it to be a mixture of work and life, because we see our business and our days blend as well. Each month, we’ll touch on our current clients and projects and what we’ve been able to do for them, sharing snippets of the work.
To start out, we’ve had a blast working through logo work with Dr. John DuRussel and his wife, Lindsay, to rebrand Evergreen Orthodontics Specialists (EOS). EOS has a great, dedicated team, and they’ve been wonderful to work with. In the coming weeks, we’ll also be diving into a new website for their business; but for now, here is their brand new logo—we love the colors!
When we create a logo for a business, we also like to include a brand guidebook. It’s a comprehensive document full of the details surrounding the new design (color schemes, file types, etc.), but it also offers guidelines on how (or how not to!) use the new logo. It makes sure that the new brand does its best work for the business. With the EOS branding project, we also revamped this guidebook process, and we’re very pleased with how it turned out.
In other May logo work, we were able to connect with Broadcast Coating Tools and transform their current brand into something fresh and more modern. We took the logo from this…
Sometimes all you need is a little update! That’s also what we did for ABB Optical in Coral Springs, Florida and Burke Tumbling Academy in Swampscott, MA. We created new logo suite for both of these brands, and it was fun to work closely with their teams to craft simple, smart logos.
Aside from logo work, we were pumped to dive into the new Outdoorsman Lab brand with some photo and video work. With Boulder Media House behind the camera, we directed a photo- and video shoot to feature these great camping and outdoor products, and the results have a cool lifestyle flair that is classic to Colorado. Here is an example of the video work, and there are many more like this.
We continued to work on social media and website projects with our regular clients at Gather Yoga Evergreen, Vivian’s Gourmet bakery, and Lariat Lodge. Lariat also released their new crowlers, featuring the mural that Wander Unlimited designed using chalk art by Mackenzie Iddings. w3p-
We were also able to work with the Evergreen Parks & Recreation Department to build a website for their project, Active4All, which we’ve mentioned before. We’ll continue this partnership throughout the year and will be sponsoring their annual Polar Plunge.
Bivouac opened their Evergreen coffee shop and roastery this month, and it was fun to get into that new space and see them in action. The packaging we designed for them will be out in the world soon.
